Choosing a career in fitness was a natural fit for me. In fact, I have loved the feeling of being physically active and working out for as long as I can remember. I have always heard that if you find a job you love, you will never feel like you’re working, and for me that is especially true – even when I’m tired after a long day!

Choosing a career in fitness was a natural fit for me. In fact, I have loved the feeling of being physically active and working out for as long as I can remember. I have always heard that if you find a job you love, you will never feel like you’re working, and for me that is especially true – even when I’m tired after a long day!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

Turning my passion into a career began when I earned my first fitness certification as a spin instructor. At that time I was attending spin classes three times per week, and I enjoyed it so much that I knew it would be a perfect job for me! After 3 incredible years of teaching spin, I decided to expand my fitness certifications to include group fitness classes like boot camp, total body conditioning, and barre.

I took the next step in my career path when I decided to become a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. With that certification, I am now able to connect with even more clients, giving me the opportunity to help people reach their goals and push their limits. I truly enjoy teaching and motivating people to work out, whether they’re part of a group in local fitness classes or in a one-on-one personal training session.

WHEN I’M NOT WORKING…

Outside of my work, I love to spend time with my two children. We love travelling together and going to the beach. My kids share my passion for staying active, and we especially enjoy paddleboarding together. At home, I love to cook healthy meals. I’m always looking for quick and easy recipes with nutritious ingredients that my children will enjoy. I also enjoy taking yoga classes and reading fiction books. I believe in balance, and I feel so lucky to have a career fits so comfortably into my lifestyle.
